The most requested compound in the range. 5mg, 10mg, 30mg or 40mg per vial.
GLP-RT is a synthetic peptide of 39 amino acids from the newest generation of metabolic research compounds, engineered to act at three receptors at once: GLP-1, GIP and glucagon. Earlier peptides in the class act on one or two. All three receptors belong to hormones the gut and pancreas release around meals. GLP-1 and GIP are the incretins, which signal the pancreas and the brain's appetite centres after food; glucagon is the hormone that mobilises stored fuel and raises energy expenditure. Putting all three actions into one molecule is the idea the compound was designed to study, and in the original laboratory work its activity was weighted towards the GIP receptor, with the other two roughly balanced. A C20 fatty-acid side chain on the molecule binds it to albumin in circulation and extends its half-life, the feature that sets this generation apart from the natural hormones, which last only minutes. It was first described in the scientific literature in 2022. It is commonly researched in metabolic models covering glucose handling, energy balance and body composition, and it is the most requested compound in this range. Unlike most compounds here it has been studied in large human trials; what is supplied here is not a licensed medicine. Supplied as 5mg, 10mg, 30mg or 40mg of freeze-dried powder per vial, for reconstitution with bacteriostatic water; store at 2–8°C.
